Interesting perspective. I don't think it's morbidity that drives us to endings, but rather the anticipation of new beginnings. The prospect of releasing thoughts and even people that no longer serve us may seem selfish to some. Are we releasing people that are no longer useful to us? Or, is it that our energies are so mismatched and the release occurs so natural that we are unaware of the process? Life is a marvel to me. We are often so entrenched in our beliefs and idiosyncrasies that we can't see the bigger picture. Life is meant to be lived unapologetically. We decide where our boundaries to growth and improvement are based on personal choices, and hopefully, love of ourselves as well as others drives us to a sensible choice and happy new beginning, not to use or misuse the trust placed in us, but with a mutual understanding that life is an adventure to be embraced and not a heavy burden to carry on a daily basis. New beginnings energize our wings. It's up to us to use the new opportunities wisely.
